This is a rifle, the Sig 556, modeled for Unreal Tournament 3. It is a subdivision model from which normal and occlusion maps will later be baked to a low-poly model. The objective was to be as close to the real thing as reasonably possible, so several references were used from different angles and lighting positions. This was one of my first subdivision models, and at the time I was under the impression that everything had to be modeled in quads - so, while I made it a bit harder on myself than it should have been, it's a pretty clean mesh.
